Hello,

it seems there's something wrong with the version numbers
of nvidia-persistenced. Today my system wanted to /upgrade/
from stretch-backports to stretch:

$ LANG=C wajig policy  nvidia-persistenced

  Installed: 384.111-1~deb9u1
  Candidate: 384.111-1~deb9u1

        100 http://ftp.debian.org/debian unstable/contrib amd64 Packages
 *** 384.111-1~deb9u1 990
        990 http://ftp.debian.org/debian stretch/contrib amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

Which is correct, since stretch got new upstream driver version at some
point after it was in backports.

There hasn't been any reason to update that specific backported package
to have a newer version than stretch.
