Package: nvidia-kernel-source
Version: 1.0.7174-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

I compiled nvidia kernel module build from source using Linux kernel
source downloaded from 'kernel.org', and build it using gcc-3.4 with
make-kpkg. However, after installation of the necessary packages,
loading the nividia kernel module with 'modprobe -v nvidia' fails.
In /var/log/syslog, it reports:
-------------------------------------------------
nvidia: Unknown symbol register_ioctl32_conversion
nvidia: Unknown symbol unregister_ioctl32_conversion
