Package: openvpn
Version: 2.3.7-1
Severity: important

Hi,
After updating from 2.3.4-5 the init script doesn't ask for user name
and password anymore.
$ sudo /etc/init.d/openvpn start MYCONF
[ ok ] Starting virtual private network daemon: MYCONF.

but the tunel is not configured and the system log reports an error:
[...]
Jul 13 21:32:19 tiehlicka ovpn-MYCONF[5659]:   auth_user_pass_file = 'stdin'
Jul 13 21:32:19 tiehlicka ovpn-MYCONF[5659]: OpenVPN 2.3.7 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
[SSL (OpenSSL)] [LZO] [EPOLL] [PKCS11] [MH] [IPv6] built on Jul 7 2015
Jul 13 21:32:19 tiehlicka ovpn-MYCONF[5659]: library versions: OpenSSL 1.0.2a
19 Mar 2015, LZO 2.08

username from stdin
Jul 13 21:32:19 tiehlicka ovpn-MYCONF[5660]: Exiting due to fatal error

Downgrading back to 2.3.4-5 restores the old behavior when the script
asks for both user name and password and then sets up the tunel
properly:
$ sudo /etc/init.d/openvpn start MYCONF
[....] Starting virtual private network daemon: MYCONFEnter Auth Username:XYZ
Enter Auth Password:
. ok

Please let me know if you need more information.
