Try this:
curl -T TEEEEEST -u name:pass
ftp://www.yourweb.sk/path-does-not-exists/blablabla/

and you will get:
curl: (9) Uploaded unaligned file size (0 out of 4 bytes)

2nd problem is that man message (man curl) is better, but will NOT give
you exact idea what happened.

9 FTP access denied. The server denied login.

I suggest it should report something like
DIR doesn't exits, or
Are you sure you haven't typo, komrade? :)

Thanks much for curl & maintainig package!
