Package: libcairo2-doc
Version: 1.0.0-1
Severity: minor
Tags: patch

It would be nice if the cairo docs would be registers with docbase. This
makes them accessible to dhelp and other tools.

Create the file debian/libcairo2-doc.doc-base, which will look something like:
=====================================================================
Document: libcairo2-doc
Title: Cairo Manual
Author: David Reveman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Abstract: Cairo is a multi-platform library providing anti-aliased
 vector-based rendering for multiple target backends.
Section: graphics

Format: HTML
Index: /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/cairo/index.html
Files: /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/cairo/*.html
=====================================================================

(you might prefer Section: programming rather than graphics).

The entry is registered with doc-base automatically if you use debhelper
(dh_installdocs).

Thanks,

Drew

p.s. is /usr/share/gtk-doc really the tight place for the cairo docs? It
seems a bit odd - cairo is not a GTK project!
