I'd like to be able to add single images to a collection by a single
keypress while I'm in the main browser window to speed up image
selection. What I mean is that I'd like to be able to open up a new,
empty collection and then, while browsing through some images in the
main browser, "send" the currently active one to that collection
with a single keystroke (instead of having to drag it over with the
mouse). Of course with several collections opened at once there would
have to be some mechanism to decide which one is the currently active
one.
I think this would improve the speed of making a collection from large
numbers of images (I'm currently sorting my vacation pictures).

Upstream 1.5.7 lets you add images to a collection with the sort manager with
a single click when the image is displayed, automatically going to the next
image. I'm closing this bug, unless you feel this feature doesn't cover
