Tell me, do you know how RAID works on pmac hardware ? I just added an LVM flag for amiga partition tables, so i will be able to try out simple LVM, altough i am not sure only libparted support is enough, or if we need to investigate the lvmtools also. I suppose that pmac hardware used a RAID name to the partition as type, so i think it should also be possible to use an LVM including partition name string the same way, this would need some fixing in partman. I also wonder about LVM on RAID, since my understanding is that the RAID array creates a RAID partition, and not a partition table on top of it, but then maybe i am wrong with that.
