I don't think it is a problem of the debian installer because it worked without any problem.
BTW, what is a EIP value??

Did 2.4 work? Can you try te 2.6.5 images from unstable?
Hi,
when i choose the expert mode the partitioner don't see my harddrive.
I test the install with expert26 but installed the 2.4. kernel, which doesn't work.

I need 2.6. because of 'via82cxxx.ko' which i think is the driver for my chipset. I'm not 100% sure about that.

I downloaded http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/sid_d-i/i386/current/sarge-i386-netinst.iso
but there is no 2.6.5
Where can i find 2.6.5 images from unstable?
greets
alex
