Machine: vmware virtual machine Processor: virtual Memory: 256 Root Device: scsi virtual disk Root Size/partition table: unable to partition Output of lspci: can't install Base System Installation Checklist: Initial boot worked: [O] Configure network HW: [O] Config network: [O] Detect CD: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [E] Partition hard drives: [ ] Create file systems: [ ] Mount partitions: [ ] Install base system: [ ] Install boot loader: [ ] Reboot: [ ] [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Comments/Problems: The system did not detect my disk - which is fine - however it did not complain... I was very confused the partitioning questions because they did not display any disks. Probably there should be an error message displayed if there are no hard drives detected. brad -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
