Thanks for the nudge -- as a result of which I'm now working on it :-) Although it's turned out to take a bit longer than I expected because the salsa-CI pipeline just merged a change that broke branch2repo (the thing that lets one test udebs by building a test D-I image), so I'm using this as a way of testing the changes required to fix that.
