Hi Kirk Thank you so much for all the painful trying. See if the below helps for Debian https://archive.spacemit.com/image/k1/version/debian/ https://github.com/jing-repo/debian-builder
For Ubuntu, it’s a vendor kernel based Image built from Ubuntu open source code based packages and SoC mass production 6.6 kernel and not an official Ubuntu built image with Ubuntu self-built Kernel due to the integrated GPU limited support on Ubuntu designated kernel versions. Any DISTRO not using Vendor Kernel from SpacemiT SoC, will not have full functionalities guaranteed. https://bianbu-linux.spacemit.com/en/ for more information cheers > From: "Kirk Reiser"<[email protected]> > Date: 2025年9月12日 (周五) 02:02 > Subject: Re: Deep Computing DC-ROMA ii won't boot > To: <[email protected]>, <[email protected]> > Cc: <[email protected]>, "Greg Sterling"<[email protected]> > Hello folks: Thank you for the responses. > > The laptop did infact come with ubuntu-24.04 installed, except it was > a greatly reduced package, they say because it wasn't expected that a > lot of people would login.
