Fact is d-i pulled in initramfs-tools and created the initrd.img-5.17.0-3+reiser4.0.2-amd64 which left my newly installed Debian Trixie system on reiser4 root '/' unbootable.

However, I would appreciate much if you would direct my message and/or me, if the former were too much of an issue, to the proper mailing list.
