When I choose "Debian GNU/Linux, with Linux 6.12.38+deb13-amd64
(recovery mode)" it hangs during the kernel boot at this message:
1.978505 usb 3-4: new high-speed USB device number 2 using xhci_hcd
It doesn't get to a login prompt.
I was unsure if this should be reported against the installer or Linux
6.12.38+deb13-amd64
This looks like a kernel bug in 6.12.38+deb13. The installer just
installs the latest available kernel, whatever it is.
What would the appropriate action on my part be? Should I file a bug
against 6.12.38+deb13? Do you have any pointers I could use to help get
to the root cause?
