If I were you I'd try to ask the alioth-lists maintainers whether they are willing to move that list. I could understand if they would answer that after two years of inactivity its not possible anymore. I remember they even created totally new list [email protected] that did not even existed on Alioth - so in principle they are open and if you have a sensible explanation why that list was unused such a long time I think they will do you that favour.
