Dear Maintainer, I believe I have a very similar setup, but just wanted to confirm I am also experiencing this issue. If it helps, this seems to be an upstream issue with evdi [1], and I have seen it reported for kernel 6.18 for other distros as well [2] Apparently the following upstream evdi commit [3] would fix it. It seems to be fixed also in aur/evdi-dkms-git (linked from [2]) for kernel 6.18 [1] https://github.com/DisplayLink/evdi/issues/545 [2] https://discuss.cachyos.org/t/evdi-dkms-fails-on- kernel-6-18-1-2-cachyos-v3/20024 [3] https://github.com/DisplayLink/evdi/commit/cc97fab0e2cfc7fba980f645b4901280018586db Thank you, Kind Regards, Jonas. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.17.13+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/16 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_PROPRIETARY_MODULE, TAINT_OOT_MODULE, TAINT_UNSIGNED_MODULE Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages evdi-dkms depends on: ii dkms 3.2.2-1 Versions of packages evdi-dkms recommends: ii libevdi1 1.14.11+dfsg-1 evdi-dkms suggests no packages. -- debconf-show failed
