forgot - if you can reproduce something more or less easy_ dbmail.conf: file_logging_levels = 511 after restart the service you get a very verbose log try to reproduce what happens, save dbmail.err (the debuglog) and send it compressed to Paul *caution* do not forget disable the debug-logging ASAP as i debugged one of such issues the beast had 1.8 GB within a short time-frame as the error started to loop and a few minutes later 9 GB :-)
