I was just wondering is there a reason why I should - or should not

Did someone make performance comparisions with dbmail for postgresql
8.3 / 9.1 ?
Since (as seen in my previous email to the list) I need to import a
lot of mails soon and if there is a good reason
to upgrade postgresql first then I'd rather do ith with a 700MB db
than with one with like 20GB
if i start with a new machine i ALWAYS build it up with the
newest available software because before go in production
with a new server there are always a lot of tests
why should someone install a older software, put data on a machine
and after put the machine in production do later a major upgrade
with all the risks it brings?
I fully agree with you on that.
It seems I wasn't clear enough with my description:
I do have DBMail 3.0.2 running with postgresql 8.3 currently so not
starting with a new machine just migrating another account ;)
Sorry for the confusion :D
