Not to speak out of turn or anything but I always though that aliases should be handled by the MTA and dbmail should only handle it's own addresses...
I have two domain names that dbMail stores messages for (5 accounts with probally 20 aliases...) If someone I new wanted an email address on one/both of my domains I would put in the postfix virtual_alias file "[EMAIL PROTECTED]","[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Local accounts that dbmail handle say "[EMAIL PROTECTED]","addy" or "[EMAIL PROTECTED]","login_name". Now, I do not know if this is because postfix on my mail server treats my FQDN as virtual or if I am just crazy... -- Steven Lynn [EMAIL PROTECTED]
