Hello Nunno,

NL> 1) IMAP : don't fork. With 6 process of dbmail i can serve 6 imap server.
NL> the 7'th user can't use imap server ????

If you've configured for 6 processes, that's how many you'll get, and
each process can handle one user. If you need 40 simultaneous users,
you need to configure for 40 IMAP processes.

This isn't as much of a problem with POP3, because sessions are short.
I hit it a couple of times a week, though, since The Bat! will try to
download ALL configured accounts simultaneously; my personal
workstation can generate over 30 POP3 connections all by itself!

NL> 2) POP3 : Outlook express for mac os/x don't delete message from server,

This is a problem with Outlook Express - it will ONLY delete messages
if it retrieves ALL of them. You probably have a message that OE can
not download for some reason, so it aborts the connect.

Other POP3 clients will delete messages as they retrieve them, but OE
reads everything, then deletes everything. I suggest turning on
logging in Outlook Express, and see what error(s) it is encountering.
