Rather than statically compiling the options for database (mysql, pgsql,
sqlite?), authentication (sql or ldap?) and sorting (sieve or no?),
modules to provide each are loaded at run time. The modules can be
compiled at any time, too, so long as they come from the same version.

It's nothing super special or unique, it's just that it took some time
to sit down and hammer out the loader function and make a few decisions
about how the functions would be called.

As you might imagine, this will make life much easier for those
packaging DBMail for distributions.
