simple really; select a spot that is further within the image, rotate
the replacement area to a place that is further within the image then
move the spot circle into the correct place.

Hi!
Given an image with a "spot" at the image border. Invoke the spot
removal tool, modus "path". Select the "spot" with several points, final
click => in many cases the area where dt tries to get the cloned image
from is outside of the image border. It seems that it always moves the
source for cloning by a fixed distance x East-South-East of the spot.
How can I select the cloning source if it is not within the image?
It seems possible by zooming the image to small so I get enough empty
space around the image to select the second area outside but I think
this is sort of a work around only.
