Hello Rob,
I understand your point. These are valid use cases. It is clear to me
that you want to have a parameter like "maximum width of image drawing
area" to support your setup.

But I am concerned about the default value of this parameter. Why would
I want to reduce the maximum width to 1300 pixel by default? That makes
no sense to me.
