When I try to import the .NEF file with that .xmp file in the same folder,
I get a message along the lines (from memory - it was transient) of:
invalid value for clipping 3 != 4
and the history stack consists of
4-highpass(on)
3-highpass(on)
2-basecurve(on)
1-sharpen(on)
0-original
so clipping and denoise have been omitted. I'm guessing you used the git
HEAD version, and there are incompatibilities with 1.1.3.
