Hi,

unfortunately Ubuntu 20.04 is not officially supported anymore by
datktable, the system libraries on the OS are too old to compile and run
the program (*). If you want to stay on that Ubuntu version, probably your
best bet is too use the official flatpak:

https://www.flathub.org/apps/details/org.darktable.Darktable

(*) I don't remember 4.21 being supported also, so maybe the ppa you're
using may be updated at some point. But that would need new libraries
overriding the system ones, which goes against the stability of the LTS
