I think this is another dmd frontend "order of compilation bug". Dustmite is a
well known example for that issue. Compile with gdc -o dust dustmite.d
dsplit.d and it should work.
This also fails for dmd 2.062 so you might want to file a new bug report on
http://d.puremagic.com/issues/
