October 16, 2000 Dear Mr. President, We, the undersigned, ask the Executive Branch to pardon Dr. Wen Ho Lee of his one count of felony.� We also ask for a blue ribbon independent commission to investigate whether Dr. Lee was selectively prosecuted based on his race.� We strongly condemn any racial profiling that can lead to selective prosecution and inhumane conditions of incarceration for any U.S. citizen.�� �
