I don't think that legal and patent issues are on-topic for coderpunks. I
suggest that further discussion continue on cypherpunks (or at least
somewhere else).
The following US patents were listed among the assets in the bankruptcy of
Digicash Incorporated - I have added projected expiration dates, using 17
years from date of issue, except where the full term was disclaimed
(5,276,736). I expect they are now the property of whoever purchased the
assets of the corporation, although I haven't looked at the bankruptcy
filings to be sure.
