Has an article and report on using Rydberg states of
atoms as *unary* representations for quantum state;
this scheme does *not* require quantum entanglement
but does use the quantum interference that makes
quanta such interesting little fuzzy balls.

The actual experiments involve zapping an ion with
laser pulses, to set up the system and then read the
result.  The write pulses are phase controlled to 
program the system.
