Hello and thank for you your time I am currently have trouble trying to install Cygwin onto my Vista Business machine (Not Sp1).
I am using the latest version of the setup.exe from cygwin.com. The setup.exe will download all the files from the server and save them in C:\User\Michael\Downloads\<Name of Server>. I told it to install to C:\cgywin, using the setting of All Users/Unix, but as soon as it tries to install it comes up with a pop-up message saying mount: Access is Denied. I tried to run the setup again and to have it try to install from the files from local disk. Once the installition started it instantly brought back up the Access is Denied message. I removed the previous downloads and installation direction and then tried re-downloading from a different mirror but once again when it began to install it gave the same error message. My machine currently does not UAC active and also I have tried running the setup as an administrator as well.
