I see a similar but not identical problem was reported earlier: <http://sourceware.org/ml/cygwin/2008-03/msg00398.html>. I'm also aware that Vista is not supported and that the problem has an easy work around. But I wonder if there is a deeper issue with OpenSSH, X11, cygwin, sh.exe, or something else that could be resolved.
