BTW, is it ZA free edition or ZA professional (full paid-for edition)? The pro version has been known to cause all sorts of mysterious cygwin failures in the past, and it has to be fully uninstalled - not just temporarily disabled, unfortunately - in order to find out whether it is responsible.
