Ah. Well that is wrong. '/bin/sh' should be a copy of '/bin/bash'.
I'd still recommend reinstalling the bash package to see if that creates
the proper '/bin/sh'.
A symlink is okay if you only ever invoke /bin/sh via cygwin apps; it only
breaks when trying to call sh from native Windows apps, since they don't
follow symlinks.
I know. I'm being pedantic but unless the OP has a firm reason for wanting
a link here, I still like to point folks to the path of greatest Cygwin
bliss. ;-)
