Hi,

I cannot access usb storage devices on my laptop (Acer TM800, Pentium
M), since updating from cygwin 1.5.20-1.

ls, rsync, bash and other commands crash when listing directories.

A ls stackdump looks like this:

$ ls --version
ls (GNU coreutils) 6.9

Any ideas how to circumvent this problem without downgrading to
1.5.20-1?

The OS is Windows XP, but the current version works fine with on another box running XP. I could send a more detailed report on my environment via PM to some specific person if required. Could a clean install help? I currently don't have too much spare time to deal with this.

Regards,
Thomas.
