Hmm, yes, you're right. I'll change that in the script. However, while sshd works fine with a lastlog directory, it's not quite right to allow both variations (file/dir) on Cygwin. I don't know off-hand which applications make use of lastlog, but I'm pretty sure you'll end up with some problems. I just had a quick look and it seems that uucpd in inetutils uses a lastlog file and has no idea how to handle a lastlog directory... So, even if it works in sshd, you're moving on thin ice.
