Mh, strange thing: of course chinese characters won't show up in cygwin's non-unicode rxvt but that shuoldn't stop rsync from finding them on the second pass (the one in which files are actually sent). Could you please send me an email with some example file names? Have you noticed if it happens with *any* chinese charatcetr or only on some specific files? (if it happens with any one I guess I can switch to chinese keyboard and write a few random characters myself, else please send me the name of the files that actually activate the problem) - -- L a p o L u c h i n i l a p o @ l a p o . i t w w w . l a p o . i t / -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (Cygwin) Comment: Using GnuPG with Thunderbird - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iEYEARECAAYFAkOFZtgACgkQaJiCLMjyUvsVGwCgtbGaPZyUDPgsZamB8bTEDZPt 1n0AoIEFe3LfoCK6mm27Ui7eLOiD31+L =Xqts -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/
