Hello,

i'm trying to port a program using rpc calls to cygwin. But when i compiled using the headers from the sunrpc package i discovered that in clnt.h all the arguments of functions are in commentary:

/*
* Print why creation failed
*/
void clnt_pcreateerror(/* char *msg */);    /* stderr */
char *clnt_spcreateerror(/* char *msg */);    /* string */

/*
* Like clnt_perror(), but is more verbose in its output
*/
void clnt_perrno(/* enum clnt_stat num */);    /* stderr */

/*
* Print an English error message, given the client error code
*/
void clnt_perror(/* CLIENT *clnt, char *msg */); /* stderr */
char *clnt_sperror(/* CLIENT *clnt, char *msg */); /* string */

can someone can explain me why or if i need to use an other librarie under cygwin to do that kind of thing

thanks
