Thanks, I found the doc page for .bashrc and .profile. And I got postgres starting fine. But I need to start pserver for use with cvs. Can I do this with the cygwin bash shell or some other way? I read the apache/cygwin page on starting httpd. Is their something similar for the cvs pserver?
In other words, where does the line 'cvspserver stream tcp nowait root /usr/bin/cvs cvs --allow-root=/usr/local/cvsroot pserver' go?
