Hi, Thanks for the message but cron_diagnose.sh doesn't seem to give me insight on what I'm trying to do.
I was trying to perform a hack discussed in this thread: http://www.cygwin.com/ml/cygwin/2003-04/msg01001.html I am attempting to have the cron service run as another user so that it can access network shares. Thanks, Alan --- "Harig, Mark" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Please try running this diagnostic script > to see if it can help identify the cause > of your problem: > > http://sources.redhat.com/ml/cygwin/2003-12/msg00711.html > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: Alan London [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Sent: Thursday, January 01, 2004 11:38 PM > > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: Re: cron + network share(w/ full access?) > > > > > > Hello and Happy New Year. > > > > Would it be possible to see your altered > /etc/passwd? > > I must be doing something wrong.
