On completion of cygwin installation, I was getting the error about cygintl-1.dll not being found.
After several uninstalls, re-installs from local drive, re-installs from intenet, complete-installations, default-installations, I am still facing problems.
I uninstalled cygwin following the steps detailed in the FAQ.
Then I downloaded setup.exe from cygwin.com and tried to install it. These were the steps :
Install from local directory.
Root Dir : c:\cygwin; Install for : All Users. Default Text type : Tried both Unix and Dos
I get an error about illegal operation / invalid page fault and the application crashes.
Nothing is registered in any log file. This was the error :
