What about an official Exp package of the current cvs-1.12 sources? I prefer that and built it by myself.
I don't have time to maintain two parallel lines of development for cvs. As far as I'm concerned, when 1.11.7 (stable) is released by cvs home, then cygwin's test distribution will be 1.11.7-1 for a while. Not 1.12.x.
