As soon as I launch Cygwin, I see
-bash: /usr/bin/hostname: Permission denied
|find| fails:
$ /usr/bin/find
bash: /usr/bin/find: Permission denied
This would appear to be due to M$'s latest bout of paranoia, which in
some system configurations has them silently sabotage any program that
has the same name as one of Windows' own utilities. So "find" or
"hostname" will be blocked while, say. "ls" or "xargs" are not.
