Due to security I had to remove some lines from cygcheck report I successfully installed: alternatives 1.3.30c-10 OK
According to the alternatives package file list I should have the following executables installed: alternatives.exe and update-alternatives.exe, see sbin.log I checked my /sbin directory after installation and the two files for alternatives were not installed: see attached file, cygcheck.log
