Actually, it is better to provide details of what steps you took and what responses you got than it is to simply say "it will not work for me". It might be helpful if you posted the contents of your /etc/ssmtp/ssmtp.conf file, also. Someone might see a problem with it. Similarly, it can sometimes be useful to see the contents of 'cygcheck -s -v -r > cygcheck.txt' (provided *as an attachment*) for details about your environment.
