On 32-bit Cygwin, SaVi talks to Geomview, you get a view of the Earth with a ring around it when you launch the two, you can control Geomview with SaVi and its menus as expected. On 64-bit, Geomview launched with SaVi: geomview -run ../savi1.4.9/savi gives a blank grey canvas window. Though SaVi may be listed as a module in Geomview's main window, clicking that does nothing. There is no piping communication between the applications. At all.
