D-BUS is a message bus system, a simple way for applications to talk to
one another. It supplies both a system daemon (for system services) and
a per-user-login-session daemon (for general IPC needs among user
applications).
This is an update to the latest upstream stable release. The new
dbus-x11 subpackage contains dbus-launch and a script to automatically
run it when starting X sessions.
