hi, i have no clue why cygrunsrv wont execute cron, i posted some time ago and someone suggested that i run cron-config with set -x. the output is attached. also the output from cronbug is at the end of the mail
the cronbug.txt shows that earlier cronjobs did in fact run, but im unsure if they might be log entries from a previous cygwin64bit installation (im now running a 32bit cygwin environment) futher down the one can only see that i edited the crontab quite some time for testing, but nothing works. with this: + ls -alh /usr/sbin/sendmail lrwxrwxrwx 1 14354s None 16 Feb 1 18:38 /usr/sbin/sendmail -> /usr/bin/cronlog i was expecting cron error output in ~/cron.log but the file is never created my test cronjob looks like this: 48 18 * * * /usr/bin/echo "lala" this one im expecting to run at 18:48, but it doesnt sending this mail including the output from cron-config while set -x was enabled wasnt possible, got refused because of spam back. ive pasted the output from cron-config here: https://paste8.com/XUZj6j9U that link also includes cronbug.txt any ideas? -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
