I just installed cygwin 1.17.18-1 in a windows box running windows 7 enterprise.
I have used in the past cygwin 1.15.1 with no problems on a windows XP 32 bit
machine.
When I import numpy (1.6.2) into python 2.7.3 I get the following message
python

I verified that lapack_lite.dll is in the appropriate place but not sure why it
does not recognize it.
I have read on the web that there was at some time a problem with
cyggfortran-3.dll but not sure
what to do if this is the case.
