Hello, Can anybody help me to find some information about GNU version numbering scheme? I'm looking for a guideline, 'cause I've found out, that sometimes even myself I couldn't tell what means the version of this or that program, written by me some time ago: was it the release or alpha, was it branch or patch and so on.
