Dear Cygwin experts, I am trying to open the exact location in the html file using my default browser with the command of the form
cygstart.exe file:///C:/somepath/doc/ref/chap31.html#X84F59A2687C62763 However, the anchor is ignored, so instead of going to the exact location it opens the file and stays on the top of the page. I didn't manage to find anything on Web, except the discussion about handling '?' in URL on March 30-31 this year, but it doesn't help. Is there any workaround to handle '#' in URLs?
