Hello, While trying to uninstall Cygwin from Windows7 following FAQ 2.19, I was stuck for quite a long time with file permissions problem, until I finally found out that SSH host key files in /etc have some "Special permissions" which prevent removing them. Windows system was not very helpful saying only "I cannot remove cygwin, you need permission from Administrator/MYHOST".
Could you please include this case in FAQ? Regards, Robert. -- Problem reports: http://cygwin.com/problems.html FAQ: http://cygwin.com/faq/ Documentation: http://cygwin.com/docs.html Unsubscribe info: http://cygwin.com/ml/#unsubscribe-simple
